We know that many of you will be glued to the set Sunday evening for the 88th Academy Awards. The red carpet parade kicks off at 4 p.m., and the awards, hosted by Chris Rock, get going at 5:30 p.m. That means you've got all kinds of time to shop and stroll at the farmers market before parking in front of the boob tube.

Veteran Oscars fans know that the show can go on for an eternity, so it's critical to have endurance vittles on hand. We've put together a bunch of snack ideas, all featuring locally grown, raised or crafted ingredients.
